We started the week wearing a hat....but it didn't last very long.

Granddaddy and Maddie at Murrell's Inlet. Where are Granddaddy's glasses you ask? Knocked off in the ocean by the very first wave the very first day. They were not alone, may they drift in peace, my sunglasses are with them in the great blue yonder.

Day 2: Boat Ridin' and "Skate boarding"
Maddie looks unsure of the boat. This is her first time back in it after the rouge wave capsized it, with her and Sam in it, and knocked Mommy and Granddaddy down. Luckily all that was lost were glasses and sunglasses. She quickly came to love riding in the boat again.

Sam, however, never fully recovered from his adventure, with Mommy, at the bottom of the ocean (I had a hold of him, but unfortunately I went down too). He preferred to "skateboard," as he called it, on dry land.
