Northern Vernacular

This is what "flurries" looks like in the north.........

Back home this would have shut down schools, delayed the start of many businesses, and sent people running for the elicit "bread and milk". However, here it's just "flurries".
Notice anything else different in this picture of "flurries"? Yes, the snow stuck to the roads first. Didn't know that was possible. In my experience, there has to been at least a couple inches on the ground before the road is completely covered.
Good thing the trusty ol' van can putt it's way through wind, rain, tornadoes, and snow! It's off to get the annual family Christmas pictures made!!

Still going with Target for pictures, or is there somewhere else up there people use?

Yes, it is still Target (said with French accent) for pictures. We found one that was really kid friendly.
