Thanksgiving Trip "Home"

We were so excited to get to go home back to North Carolina for over a week at Thanksgiving. We were able to spend time with both Papa and Grandma and Granddaddy and Ga-Ga. Here are so highlights of our trip. I forgot to take pictures of Thanksgiving at Ga-Ga's....blame it on the blood clots and blood thinner injections!!!

Thanksgiving at the Sheeks, riding with Lily.

Horseback riding at Ga-Ga and Granddaddy's.

We took the Harrells and the Sheeks to dinner at the Pirates Landing. Strange to find a restaurant in the shape of a pirate ship in the foothills of NC, but Sam LOVED it!!

Wade had to fly back to MN a few days before the kids and I for work. On the day he left, Granddaddy and Ga-Ga took us up on the mountains to play and hike. Sam's choice toys of that day were the stethoscope and other items from the doctor's kit. He would wear them around his waist and called it his "wistening belt". Strange kid.

Uncle Nate's Visit

Uncle Nate was so sweet and came to visit us for his fall break. Most of his classmates went places to Florida for warmth and sun. Nate, came to the frozen tundra. While he was here we went on our yearly trip to the pumpkin patch.

And we went to the Mall of America. Uncle Nate and Maddie rode the "big"roller coaster. Then, Uncle Nate road the Swiper Cars with Sam. We finished up our MOA experience with dinner at the Rainforest Cafe.
